Mayor Howell was raised in Fultondale, Alabama before moving to Trafford. He brings both small-business experience and a strong sense of community to his role of public servant. Chris is the owner of Faith Industrial Services, where he has built a reputation for hard work, integrity, and dependability.

Chris joined the Trafford Town Council in 2023 and was elected as Mayor in 2025, he remains committed to supporting local families, strengthening city services, and ensuring Trafford remains a safe, welcoming place to live and work.

Chris has been married to his wife, Sheree (Krutsch) Howell of Pinson, since 2010. They are the proud parents of Faith, and Chris' son Blake.
